Frequently Asked Questions.

What is my User ID?

Your User ID will be the first initial of your first name, followed by your last name. For example, if your name is Abigail Brightwater, your User ID will be Abrightwater

PLEASE NOTE that this will be true for most employees. Some employees have the same first initial and last name, and have been assigned a special User ID and password. Please contact the HelpDesk for your special User ID and password.

What is my password?

The first time you log in to e-Learning, you will use welcome1 as your password. There is NO space between welcome and 1. You must click on edit profile at the right-hand top of the page. You will be directed to an edit profile screen, where you will check the box next to current password - type in welcome1 and type in a new password in the box below.

Is my User ID and password case sensitive?

The User ID is not case sensitive, but the password is. If you are having trouble, be sure your CAPS lock key is not on.

What if I forget my password?

If you forget your password, you will need to contact the CHCS HelpDesk and they will reset it back to welcome1 . You will need to edit your profile again and change your password the next time you log in.

What if I can't get in to e-Learning?

Call the CHCS HelpDesk.  If you need to leave them a voicemail, be sure they know how to reach you in order to assist you with access.

What if I put in my User ID and password and it does not work?

Remember that your password is case sensitive, so check that you are typing it correctly. Also be sure your CAPS lock button is not on. If you cannot resolve the problem, you will need to call the CHCS HelpDesk.

What if there are no courses to select?

If you do not see any courses to select, it is because you are not registered to take any courses. Check with your supervisor to see what courses you need to complete. If there are required courses for you, your supervisor will contact the IT department to be sure you are registered.

What if I need to stop in the middle of viewing and start again?

All e-Learning programs are designed so that you can stop at any time and resume from where you left off the next time you log in. If you need to stop before finishing the course, simply log out of e-Learning . When you have time to finish the program, log in to e-Learning , and you will be notified that you have previously been in the lesson, and you will have an option to continue from the last page you were on. Click OK to continue without having to start from the beginning again.

How do I know if I am getting credit?

Once you have completed a course and exited/submitted according to the directions in the program, you will notice either a small green circle or check mark next to the course. The green circle indicates you have completed the program, and the green check mark indicates you received a passing score.

Can I access from home?

You will be able to access e-Learning from home by visiting the ArchCare website, at www.archcare.org.
At the bottom of the homepage, you will see an e-Learning link in gold; click and you will be able to log in and complete your course(s).
