Mary Manning Walsh Home Emerald Terrace Fundraiser

The 7th Floor Patio at Mary Manning Walsh is a space that has been long utilized and enjoyed by thousands of facility residents, families, and visitors. The fresh air, sunshine and captivating views of York Avenue, the East River around Sotheby’s, and the Hospital for Special Surgery provide a needed break from the daily routines and therapy sessions.

Excitedly, we are currently undertaking a project to enhance the environment by creating private seating areas, flower beds for resident gardening, shaded areas, and enhanced lighting for extended daily enjoyment. We are very excited to get the project underway and anticipate that work will begin in April of 2024 in hopes that the work can be completed for full use this Summer and Fall.

Currently, the project is not fully funded, with our funds covering approximately 23% of the proposed $1.3 million cost. We are asking for your help to close the gap and allow us to finish this project on time and budget neutral. There are also naming opportunities available for those who wish to make a lasting impact.
