Respiratory and Tracheostomy Care

Through experience, the Center has learned that bringing together those with special respiratory-care needs results in improved care for our residents. The Respiratory Supportive Care Unit offers efficient and effective care to those who suffer with pulmonary compromise, while providing greater comfort for the treatment of tracheostomies and heavy secretions in very frail clients.

This 28-bed unit has a dedicated healthcare team with 24-hour, on-site medical coverage and respiratory therapy, nurses with acute care experience and advanced training, and a full range of physical, occupational and speech therapy.
