I've been working at ArchCare at Mary Manning Walsh for over 40 years now. I like working here mainly because I like working with the elderly. I found my niche here and I feel that I am needed every single day. It gives me a sense of purpose to work here, it is like a real home; residents are treated very well.

"What I love most about Ferncliff is the Residents. It's a huge extended family for me. As far as teamwork, I have the best unit. The Residents are like an addition to the staff. I even visit the Residents at the hospital when they are sent out."

"Hi, I just wanted to say thank you for giving me the opportunity to teach at the Kateri Residence. I am absolutely loving it. The residents are incredibly responsive. I have them chanting while moving, which they love. Before I start class I always pay homage to my teachers by chanting a Sanskrit prayer which, translated means: May our time together as student and teacher be harmonious, may our learning together be nourishing and enlightening, and may there be peace. I asked them if they wanted to learn it, and they said yes. I had tears in my eyes when I heard the room resonant with this ancient chant.
I hope you are as happy with the program as I am. Thanks again."
