Individual Volunteers
As an individual volunteer, you can provide greatly needed companionship when you visit one-on-one with residents who have no friends or family. Whether it's teaching an ArchCare resident how to use the computer, playing a chess game, planting together, or just having a pleasant chat, you can provide companionship while giving our residents a social stimulus that increases their quality of life.
Community Group Volunteers
Volunteers from schools and civic organizations can support ArchCare through one-time events, group volunteer projects and ongoing partnerships. Your group can sing at Christmas parties, paint brightly colored murals, distribute helium balloons, form pen pal coalitions, support holiday gift drives, and host parties.
Corporate Volunteer Teams
It's always an exciting day when corporate volunteer teams plan a special visit to one of our ArchCare facilities. There are many rewarding and fun projects your corporate group can take part in - holiday gift drives, planting a new garden, and serving Thanksgiving dinners to name just a few. You can even support us without leaving your office by organizing magazine, book, and movie drives, and making a corporate donation. Your efforts can touch many lives and are always a valuable team-building experience.
