ArchCare Celebrates Third Consecutive Year as a “Great Place To Work” Certified Organization

NEW YORK, NY, May 20, 2024 ArchCare, the Archdiocese of New York’s healthcare system that every day cares for more than 12,000 adults and individuals with special needs, is proud to be Certified™ by Great Place to Work®. ArchCare has successfully met the rigorous criteria outlined by Great Place to Work for their third consecutive year, demonstrating its dedication to creating an environment that promotes employee well-being and satisfaction.

“We are deeply committed to our mission of providing compassionate care and support to those in need, every single day. Being recognized as a ‘Great Place to Work’ for the third consecutive year is a testament to the dedication and passion of our Care Members who uphold our mission,” said Scott LaRue, President and Chief Executive Officer of ArchCare. “With over 80% of our Care Members feeling like they are making a difference working at ArchCare, we take pride in what we’ve accomplished together. We are immensely proud of their hard work and the positive impact they make in the lives of our patients and residents.”

Great Place to Work, a global authority on workplace culture, partners with organizations to evaluate employees’ experience and workplace culture through their Great Place to Work Trust Model and the Trust Index Survey. The certification process considered more than 1,000 employee surveys across ArchCare’s locations assessing more than 60 elements of team members’ experience on the job. These included employee pride in the organization’s community impact, belief that their work makes a difference, and feeling their work has special meaning. Rankings are based on employees’ experience, no matter who they are or what they do.

“We applaud ArchCare for seeking certification and releasing its employees’ feedback,” said Dr. Jacquelyn Kung, CEO of Great Place to Work’s senior care affiliate Activated Insights. “These ratings measure its capacity to earn its own employees’ trust and create a great workplace for high performance.”

ArchCare’s latest achievement of securing the Great Place to Work Certification is complemented by noteworthy recognitions for two of its nursing homes in 2024. Mary Manning Walsh Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center distinguishes itself by earning a ‘High Performance’ rating for both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care on U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Nursing Homes 2024” list. For the third consecutive year, it also secured a spot on Newsweek’s esteemed “Best Nursing Homes 2024” list, ranking at #12 among New York facilities. Additionally, San Vicente de Paúl Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center earned well-deserved recognition, marking its fourth consecutive year on Newsweek’s “Best Nursing Homes 2024” list and securing the #20 ranking among New York facilities.

ArchCare will be celebrating their recognition with a company-wide barbeque on Thursday, May 23rd. For more information about their certification and pictures of the event, please reach out to their media contact, Kelly Wessel.
